Funeral services for Norma Sluder, 73 years old of Leland, MS will be 2 :00 P.M. Friday Jan. 24, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home.She passed away Jan. 20, 2014 at her home. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Friday at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Leland Stoneville Cemetery.

Mrs. Sluder was born Feb. 20, 1940 in Greenville to Frank & Helen Vest. She grew up in Greenville where she attended school and has been a life long resident of the Greenville area. She was a nurse at Delta Regional Medical Center and Kings Daughters Hospital until ill health forced her to retire.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Sluder of Leland, MS., 2 sons, Joe Sluder & his wife Patty of El Paso, TX. & Phil Sluder & his wife Mary of Leland, MS., her sister Kathryn Stoops & her husband Kenneth of Kokomo, IN., 4 grandchildren, Ally Sluder, Ashlee Sluder, Katelyn Sluder & Scott Sluder.
