Funeral services for John H. Metts, 68 years old of Greenville will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday Feb. 8, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home. He died Wednesday Feb. 5, 2014 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. Friday Feb. 7, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Leland-Stoneville Cemetery.
Mr. Metts was born May 15, 1945 in Savannah, GA. to Dorsey & Mary Metts. He has been a resident of Greenville since 1984 where he worked at Moeller Products Co. He is a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a member of Riverport Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Johnnie Metts of Greenville, MS., 3 sons, Stacey Metts (Lesley) of Griffin, GA., James Metts (Selma) of Greenville, MS. & Dave Metts (Susan) of Zebulon, GA., brother, Ronald Johnston of Bunnell, Fl, sister, Deborah Henderson of Stark, GA., 8 grandchildren & 3 great Grandchildren.
