Funeral services for John Peel, 68years old of Greenville will be 10:00 A.M. Monday March 3, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home. He died Friday Feb. 28, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Monday at Smith Funeral Home.
John was born Feb. 14, 1946 in Greenville to Charles & Mary Peel. He has been a life long resident of Greenville where he grew up and attended school. He was a fireman with the City Of Greenville where he retired. He was a U.S. Army Veteran where he served in Viet Nam.
He is survived by his daughter & son in law, Milinda & Lawrence Fraley of Marion, Iowa, his son & daughter in law, Dallas & Keri Peel of Florida, brother & sister in law, Charles “Chuck” & Brenda Peel of TN., 2 grandchildren, Austin Nicholson & Lawryn Fraley.
