Funeral services for Hugh Davis Putnam Jr. 69 years old of Foley, Alabama and formerly of Greenville, MS. will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday April 16, 2014 at Emmanuel Baptist Church. He died Sunday April 13, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery.

Mr. Putnam was born April 15, 1944 in Cleveland, MS. to Hugh and Mary Putnam. He grew up in Cleveland where he attended school. He was a resident of Greenville, MS from 1970 until 2012 when he and his wife moved to Foley, Alabama. He was an industrial electrician Gerald Andrus Power Plant in Greenville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Putnam SR. & Mary Putnam, his daughter, Stephanie Putnam, his brother, Billy Putnam & his sister, Mary Anne Crook

He is survived by his wife Donna Putnam of Foley, Alabama, his daughter, Barbara Putnam of Foley, Alabama, 2 sons, John Davis Putnam of Los Angeles, CA. & Matthew Putnam & his wife Trice of Greenville, MS., 2 sisters, Sonny Lou Strahan & Jamie Mayo & her husband Robert all of Cleveland, MS., 4 grandchildren, Allie Wuestenhoefer, Sydney Wuestenhoefer, Anna Reid & Ethan Cathers
