Funeral services for Thomas “Tommy” Lumley, 52 years old of Avon will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday April24, 2014 at Bethel Assembly Of God Church. He died Monday April 21, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Leland Stoneville Cemetery.
Tommy was born March 4, 1962 in Union City, TN to Billy & Emma Lumley. He grew up in Union City where he attended school. He has been a resident of Greenville area since 1979. He was employed at Mainstream Mufflers where did muffler and mechanic work. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy & Emma Lumley, brother, Billy Junior Lumley, sister, Betty Dycus, 2 grandchildren, John David Lumley & Layne Thomas Lumley.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Horton Lumley of Avon, MS., daughter, Christina Lumley of Avon, MS., son, Bryan Lumley of Avon, MS., 2 brothers, Michael Lumley (Connie) of Avon, MS. & Jimmy Dale Lumley (Amanda) of Leland, MS., 4 sisters, April Martin (Jimmy) of Leland, MS., Sue Ann Lumley (Jerry) of Leland, MS., Sam Lumley of Lake Village, AR. & Billie Ann Lumley of Avon, MS., 5 grandchildren, Skylar Blaylock, Madison Blaylock, Rylan Lumley, Alyssa Lumley & Landen Thomas Lumley
Rev. Chance Walley will officiate the services.
