Funeral services for Maxine Poole, 91 years old of Tupelo, MS and formerly of Greenville will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday April26, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home. She died Wednesday April 23, 2014 in Tupelo, MS. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M Saturday at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Poole was born March 16, 1923 in Little Rock, MS to Jessie & Mamie Dallas. She grew up in House, MS where she attended school and graduated high school. She was a resident for many years until she moved to Tupelo with her husband in 1998. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie & Mamie Dallas, her husband Homer Poole, 4 brothers & 2 sisters.
She is survived by 2 sons, Steve Poole & his wife Marcia of Greenville, MS. & Mark Poole of Memphis, TN., 2 daughters, Charlotte Busby & her husband Jack & Patsy Griffin & her husband Tommy all of Tupelo, Ms, 13 grandchildren & numerous great grandchildren
Pastor Brian Amason will officiate the services.
