Funeral services for Etsuko Tagawa Baker, 80 years old of Greenville, MS will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday April 29, 2014, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home. She died Saturday April 26, 2014 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Monday April 28, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery.
Mrs. Baker was born Oct. 11, 1933 in Kobe, Japan to Shinzo & Hisa Tagawa. She grew up in Kobe, Japan where she attended school. She married Jimmy Baker Jan. 6, 1966. She has been a resident of Greenville since 1982 and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jimmy Baker of Greenville, MS. & her sister, Ayami Tagawa of Kobe, Japan
Rev. David Dobbins will officiate the services.
