Obituary for Charley Wayne Roberson

Funeral services for Charley Wayne Roberson of Greenville, Ms will be 10:00A.M. Friday May 16, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home. He passed away May 13, 2014 in Little Rock, Ar. Visitation will be from 6-8P.M. Thursday May 15, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Leland Stoneville Cemetery.
Mr. Roberson was born April 4, 1941 in Melvina, Ms to Thomas Lloyd & Mattie Bell Roberson. He attended school in Marks, Ms as young man but eventually move to Greenville, Ms.Where he has been a resident of Greenville for 45 years and worked for the Greenville Public School System as a Maintenance Tech .He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved his children and grandchildren dearly. He is preceded in death by his son, Terry Roberson, Daughter, Yvette Roberson, Parents Thomas Lloyd & Mattie Bell Roberson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Doris Roberson of Greenville, Ms., 2 Daughters, Kimberly Dawn Flores-Olvera& her husband Max of Sherwood, Ar.,Christy Lynn Flores-Olvera & her husband Richard of Sherwood, Ar. 4 Brothers, Butch Roberson & his wife Ethel of Duck Hill, Ms., Derrick Roberson of Batesville, Ms., Barry Roberson of Senatobia, Ms., Steve Roberson of Batesville, Ms., 3 Sisters, Dee Horton of Terry, Louisiana., Pam Garret & her husband Linn of Florida., Anita Box of Greenville, Ms., 6 Grandchildren, Michael Evans, Estban Flores –Olvera, Alejandro Flores- Olvera, Jesus Flores-Olvera, Ivan Flores- Olvera, Yesenia Lynn Flores- Olvera, all of Sherwood, Ar. Also a host of other grandchildren.
Rev. Pete Emerson will officiate the service.
