Funeral services for John A. “Johnny” Jones, 60 years old of Greenville, MS. will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 14, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home. He died Tuesday June 10, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be Friday June 13, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery
Johnny was born Dec. 28, 1953 in Hollandale, MS to Travis & Dorothy Jones. He has been a life long resident of Greenville where he grew up and attended school. He was a construction worker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Travis Jones Sr. and Dorothy “Dot” Jones, 2 brothers, Billy Wayne Jones & Allen Jones Sr.
He is survived by 4 daughters, Kaitlyn Jones of Greenville, MS., Stacy Jones, April Jones & Susan Jones all of Starkville, MS., 3 brothers, Jimmy Jones, Travis “Rodney” Jones Jr. & Thomas Sterling Jones (Lena) all of Greenville, MS., his sister, Tammy Chamblee (Ricky) of Greenville, MS, 4 grandchildren, Payton Johnson, Cameron Jones, Skylan Bishop & Haley McMahon & a host of nieces & nephews.
Pastor Brian Amason will officiate the services.
