Funeral services for Thomas Mullins Jr. 70 years old of Greenville will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday August 4, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home. He went home to be with the Lord Saturday August 2, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Monday August 3, 2014, at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Greenville, MS.
Thomas was born July 14, 1944 to Calvin & Thelma Mullins in Cleveland, MS, where he attended grade school. Thomas was an Auto Mechanic for his own business, “Custom Auto Service” and before retiring he worked for A&A Health. Mr. Thomas was also ordained as the Deacon of the South Side Baptist Church in Greenville, MS, for more than 30 years. Mr. Thomas was a good honest family man who loved his Mother, Wife, Daughter, and his “Heavy Duty Cutie” With all of his heart. He is preceded in death by his Father, Calvin Thomas Mullins Sr.1 Brother, Charles Melvin Mullins.
He is survived by his Mother, Thelma West of Greenville, MS, His Wife of 50 years Dorothy Mullins of Greenville, MS, 1 Daughter, Angela Marie Manus and her husband Louis of Greenville, MS, 1 Brother, Jeff Mullins of Cleveland, MS, 3 Sisters, Mary Jane Irvin and her husband Fred of Cleveland, MS, Sue Mc Caleb and her husband Mac of Gallatin, TN and Kaye Mullins of FL, 2 Granddaughters, Shelby Faye Manus of Petal, MS, Also his special “ Heavy Duty Cutie” Granddaughter, Lily Marie Manus of Greenville, MS. as well as many special friends and Church family.
Rev. James Dykes will officiate the services.
