Funeral services for Mary Ida Harrison, 96 years old of Greenville, MS will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday Sept. 27, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home. She died Wednesday Sept. 24, 2014 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lakeview Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Harrison was born Oct. 11, 1917 in Stencel, Alabama to Pervy & Lodenne Tankesly. She was a homemaker and a resident of Greenville for 62 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pervy & Lodenne Tankesly, her husband J.V. Harrison in 1980, 2 daughters, Jean Autry & Judy Sherrod & 12 siblings.
She is survived by 2 sons, Jerry Harrison & his wife Sara Bellevue, WA., & Edward Harrison & his wife Joy of Greenville, MS., 4 daughters, Helen Wright of Columbus, MS., Barbara Dorris, Beverly Pruden & her husband Jerry & Lynn Harrison all of Greenville, MS., 19 grandchildren & numerous great grandchildren & several great great grandchildren.
Rev. James Dykes will officiate the services
