Funeral services for Beverly Ferrell Kelly, 52 years old of Greenville, MS will be 2:00P.M. Thursday December 11, 2014 at The First Baptist Church located in Greenville, MS. She went home to be with the Lord on December 7, 2014. Visitation will be Wednesday December 10, 2014 from 6:00P.M.-8:00P.M.at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Leland-Stoneville Cemetery.
Beverly was born November 23, 1962 to Walter & Christine Ferrell in Greenville, MS, where she attended and graduated from Greenville High School in 1980. Beverly continued her education and went on to receive a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. Beverly was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greenville, MS, in which she was also a member of the First Baptist Choir and was listed as a Soprano. Beverly was a beautiful charismatic woman that had a voice of an angel and a smile that could light up a room. Beverly’s greatest accomplishment in life was Lauren, Angela and Michaela and being able to watch them grow into the beautiful women they have become today. Beverly was preceded in death by her birth parents Walter & Christine Ferrell. 2 brothers, Walter Ferrell Jr., Robert Ferrell, 1 Sister, Cynthia Ferrell.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Maurice Kelly Jr. of Greenville, MS, Her parents who raised her Norma & Clint Mixon, 3 Daughters, Angela Kelly of Greenville, MS., Lauren Kelly Hudson and her husband Kelly Hudson of Fort Worth, TX., Michaela Kelly of Greenville, MS., 1brother Clinton Mixon Jr. and his wife Patsy of Greenville, MS., 2 Sisters, Tricia Mixon Harrington and her husband Tommy of Charleston, MS., Stephanie Mixon Kent and her husband Mike of Greenville, MS., 1 Beautiful Granddaughter Layla Suber of Greenville, MS.,
Dr. James Nichols & Dr. Jay Richardson will officiate the service.
