Funeral services for Leonard Kendrix, 75 years old of Leland will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday Dec. 20, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home. He died Thursday Dec. 18, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be Friday Dec. 19, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeview Gardens Cemetery.
Leonard was born July 29, 1939 in Marks, MS. He moved to Greenville at an early age where grew up and attended school. He was employed at Mississippi Marine for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon & Viola Kendrix, 4 brothers, Billy, Doug, Houlon & Neil
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Kendrix of Leland, MS., 3 sons, Randy Kendrix of Boise, Idaho, Robert Kendrix of Greenville, MS. & Chris Kendrix of Jackson, MS., 3 daughters, Beth Plaster (Curtis) of Boise, Idaho, Patricia Downs of Leland, MS. & Sonya Swain (Scottie) of Leland, MS., brother, Leroy Kendrix of Greenville, MS., 8 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren
