Funeral services for Lonnie “Buddy” Roncali Jr. 73 years old of Greenville, MS will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday Feb. 4, 2015 at Smith Funeral Home. He died Saturday Feb. 1, 2015 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be Tuesday Feb. 3, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Shaw Cemetery

Buddy was born March 29, 1941 in Sunflower County to Lonnie & Vernell Roncali. He grew up in Shaw where he attended school. He has been a resident of Greenville since 1978 where he worked at Greenville Mills for 30 years. He also served in the Mississippi National Guard for 22 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie & Vernell Roncali, grandson, Blake Carpenter, 3 sisters, Winnie McHaney, Sally Weeks & Marie Vance.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joyce Roncali of Greenville, MS. 3 daughters, Tammy Horney (Joey) of Crossnore, N.C., Terri Carpenter (Richard) of Newland, N.C. & Ashley Roncali (Roderick) of Greenville, MS. , sister, Carol Bowling (Preston) of Greenville, MS., 4 Brothers, Larry Roncali (Beany) of Greenville, MS., Frankie Roncali (Nola) of Shaw, MS., Sonny Roncali (Gail) of Shaw, MS. & Pete Roncali (Nola) of Shaw, MS. 2 grandchildren, Erin Benfield & Braylen Payne.
