Miss Renee Tisaby was born March 12th, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the eleventh child of Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Tisaby, Sr. In 1987, Renee confessed a hope in Christ in Greenville, Mississippi, at Star Bethlehem Church under the guidance of Reverend J. F. Redmond. She was educated in the Greenville, Mississippi Public School Systems. Renee, like her brothers, throughout her lifetime, loved her family, friends, and especially children. Renee was a hardworking and charitable individual, completely devoted to, and deeply involved in the lives of all of us, especially our mother, her nieces, nephews, their children, and friends of the family. That devotion and involvement carried over into her work with the children and staff of Washington County Opportunities (Head start), until health and disability considerations forced her to cease full time work. Although stricken with health issues for many years, Renee still showed compassion and concerns for individuals from all walks of life. Through it all, she never ceased from helping others and never complaining about her conditions and sicknesses. Above all, she never wavered from her faith in and devotion to the Savior and God.
Anxiously awaiting her with open arms on God’s peaceful shore and to welcome her home, are her father and six brothers: Mr. R.H. Tisaby, Jr., Mr. Walter Earl Tisaby, Mr. David Lee Tisaby, Mr. Malcolm Tisaby, Mr. Orlando Cornelious Tisaby, and Mr. SiRoscoe Tisaby. Her grandparents: Reverend Mack Tisaby and Lessie B. Williams; Reverend Tom Harris and Eddie Mae Stewart. Her great grandmother, Cora Dixon Anderson. Her great aunt, Mrs. Carrie Collins. Her nephew, R.H. (Duke) Tisaby, III. Her nieces, Ms. Cassandra Tisaby and Kendricka Renee Tisaby. Her cousin, Rev. Michael Kelow.
