Greenville, MS.

Graveside services for Larry Carder, 68 years old of Greenville will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday March 30, 2014 at Greenville Cemetery. He died Tuesday March 25, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Saturday March 29, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery. All family and friends will meet at Smith Funeral Home by 1:30 P.M. Sunday and proceed to the cemetery in procession.

Larry was born March 5, 1046 in Jerome Arkansas to Cecil & Betty Carder. He moved to Greenville at an early age where he grew up and attended school. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was employed with U.S. Gypsum for 30 years as a supervisor when he retired. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Carder, his parents, Cecil & Betty Carder, 3 brothers, Marvin “Buddy” Carder, Ralph Carder & Danny Carder, 4 sisters, Dorothy “Lucy” Mitchell, Betty Skeen, Cecil Mae George & Mickie Mullinnix.

Larry is survived by his wife Janice Carder of Greenville, MS., his son, Larry Carder II and his wife Frankie of Greenville, MS, his daughter in law, Casey Carder of Gorham, N.H., 2 sisters, Mary Mathes & her husband Dickie of Greenville, MS., & Beckie Jones Russell of Greenville, MS., 3 brothers, Jimmy Carder of Greenville, MS., Cecil Carder & his wife Pattie of Greenville, MS. & Tommy Carder of Lake Village, Ar. & 2 grandchildren that he adored, William Chase Carder & Stephen Michael Carder both of Gorham, N.H. & a host of nieces & nephews.
