Graveside services for John Nelson Riley Sr., 65 years old of Crystal River, Florida and formerly of Greenville, MS. will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday June 22, 2014 at County Line Community Cemetery in Glen Allan, MS. He died Wednesday June 18, 2014 in Crystal River, Fl. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until 1:30 P.M. Sunday at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in County Line Community Cemetery in Glen Allan, MS.
John was born Jan. 27, 1949 in Hollandale, MS to Clifford Elmo & Johnnie Riley. He grew up in Glen Allan, MS where he attended school . He moved to Greenville as a young man where he also attended school. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Viet Nam. He moved to Crystal River, Florida several years ago. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Elmo Riley, sister, Amanda Carol Savell, 2 brothers, Clifford “Bubba” Riley & his twin brother, Jack Riley.
He is survived by his mother, Johnnie Riley of Dekalb, TX., son, John Riley Jr. (Randi) of Paducah, KY., daughter, Missy Riley of Crystal River, FL., brother, Billy Riley of Immo, S.C., 2 sisters, Sandra Weaver & Rita Comfort (Buck) both of DeKalb, TX., 5 grandchildren, Kayla Demeraski, Kennedy Demeraski , Spencer Ralph of Crystal River, Fl., & Elizabeth Riley of Greenville, MS. & John Nelson Riley III of Paducah, KY
