Funeral Service for Deborah Coursey, 65 years old of Greenville, MS, Will be 10 A.M. Thursday July 24, 2014, at Smith Funeral Home. She went home to be with the lord on Monday July 21, 2014 in Greenville; MS. Visitation will be from 6-8P.M. Wednesday, July 22, 2014.
Mrs. Coursey was born June 25, 1949 in Shelby, MS. to Elmer & Alice Caviness. Deborah spent her child hood in Shelby, MS, She moved to Greenville in 1963 where she attended school. She later moved to Mobile, Alabama where she lived for 25 years. She moved back to Greenville, MS, in 1995 and married Mr. C.J. “Joe” Coursey and has been a resident of Greenville since. She worked for Dust & Rust until Ill health Forced her to retire. She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer & Alice Caviness .

She is survived by her husband C.J. “Joe” Coursey of Greenville, MS., 1 Daughter, Regina Caviness (Steve Hoover) of Greenville, MS., 3 Sons, Sammie Caviness and his wife Amber of Mobile, AL., Shane Hodges and his wife Robin of Mobile, AL and Maurice LeBlanc of Ashland, MS., 4 Brothers, Bobby Caviness and his wife Bonnie of Greenville, MS., Charles Caviness and his wife Agnes of Mercer, TN., Jimmy Caviness and his wife Debbie of Flint, MI., Bubba Caviness and his wife Donna of Waycross, GA., 2 Sisters, Brenda Smith and her husband Lawrence of Vicksburg, MS., Martha Brown and her husband Dennis of Greenville, MS., 7 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren.

Jeffrey Caviness will be officiating the service.
