Graveside Service for Jolena New, 71 years old of Greenville, MS, Will be 11 A.M. Wednesday September 10, 2014, at the Greenville Cemetery. She went home to be with the Lord on Sunday September 7, 2014 in Flowood, MS. Visitation will be from 5-7P.M. at Smith Funeral Home ,Tuesday September 9, 2014.
Ms. New was born June 25, 1943 in Plainview, AR. to William & Ada Leach. Jolena spent her child hood in Watson, AR, where she attended and Graduated high school in the class of 1961. She was a resident of Greenville for 50 years. Ms. New was a wonderful woman who loved her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene New, her parents, William & Ada Leach, 2 brothers, James A. Leach, Earl L. Leach.
She is survived by 2 Sons, Tim Chennault and his wife Shari of Greenville, MS, Donnie Chennault and his wife Rachel of Flowood, MS., 1 Stepdaughter, Christina Holland of Greenville, MS., 1 Brother, Noel Leach and his wife Virginia of Star City, AR., 2 Sister in Laws, Martha Leach of Lafayette, LA, Genella Leach of Watson, AR., 3 Grandchildren, Blake Chennault of Flowood, MS, Neely Chennault of Greenville, MS, Kimberly Holland of Greenville, MS.
Bro. David Rutherford will officiate the service.
