Funeral services for Hazel Ware Ray, 88 years old of Greenville, MS will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday Sept. 18, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home. She died Monday Sept. 15, 2014 in Sharkey- Issaquena Hospital Rolling Fork, MS. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery.
Hazel was born May 9, 1926 in Lobelville, TN to Arthur & Liza Dunn. She was a lifelong resident of Greenville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur & Liza Dunn, her husband, Robby Lee Ware, her grandson Kenneth E. Ware Jr., 2 sisters, Effie Hubbard & Dorothy Dalton, 2 brothers, Carl Dunn & Willard Dunn.
She is survived by her daughter, Pat Stokes & her husband Howard of Brandon, MS., 2 sons Kenneth E. Ware Sr. & his wife Mary of Greenville, MS. & Marty Ware of Greenville, MS., brother, Robert Dunn & his wife Alice of Greenville, MS., sister, Louise “Jack” Fendley of Lafayette, LA., 6 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren
