Memorial services for Jimmy Grice, 76 years old of Greenville will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday Feb. 26, 2015 at Smith Funeral Home. He died Monday Feb. 23, 2015 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Jimmy was born June 11, 1938 in Belzoni, MS to Morris and Lilly Grice. He has been a long time resident of Greenville where he owned & operated Grice Seining Co. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris & Lillie Grice, 3 brothers, Jack Grice, Billy Grice & Bobby Grice, 2 sisters, Hazel Ware & Jeanette Frazier &his step daughter, Glenda Suber Anthony.
Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Drake Grisham of Olive Branch, MS., step daughter, Deana McAlister of Ripley, MS. 2 sons, Jimmy Grice Jr. & his wife Tammy of Gulfport, MS., Danny Suber & his wife Jamie of Greenville, MS., 2 step sons, George Suber of Greenville, MS., & Bobby Frank Suber of Greenville, MS.& his elective son, Ronnie Jackson of Arcola, MS. & his brother, Junior Grice & his wife Evelyn of Belzoni, MS., 5 grandchildren, Baylee Grisham, Shelby Grice, Jake Grice, Justin Suber & Danielle Bertschler, 7 step grandchildren, Punkin Suber, Tonda Ellis, James Suber, Kasie Gilbert, Bubba Reel, Hunter Johnson & Olivia Massey
Pastor Steve Burton will officiate the services.
